The four-color printing machine refers to a printing machine that uses a black, medium blue, brown, and green ink to realize a lithographic printing method for map copying.

Four-color printing:
Printing is performed by subtractive color three primary colors (yellow, magenta, cyan) and black. If the printing process of copying the original color is made by using other inks other than the four-color inks of yellow, magenta, cyan, and black ink, it should not be called "four-color printing" but should be called "special color printing" or "point color". print".

A lithographic method for achieving full color reproduction by using the three primary colors of red, yellow, and blue and black colorants (ink or dye) according to the principle of subtractive color mixing.

It also refers to the lithographic method of realizing map copying by using four inks of black, medium blue, brown and green. It is a printing method commonly used in large-scale topographic maps in China, and has a uniform color code. The color of each element is defined as: the ground object, the figure decoration and the note black; the water end line, the single line river and its annotation with blue, the water part of the general dyed part with 100 lines / inch 15% of the medium blue dot Contour lines and special geomorphological symbols and their annotations, brown for interior dyeing on roads; 100 lines/inch green network lines or outlets for forest general dyeing.

In addition to four colors, the six-color press can add two spot colors, and the four-color machine can't add spot colors, such as gold or silver.

Printing machine classification

By type of plate
1. Letterpress printing machine: relief printing press
A machine that uses a letterpress to complete the printing process. Such as business card machine (resin version), type printing, zinc letterpress, set number words.

2, lithographic printing machine: planographic press
A machine that uses a lithographic finish to complete the printing process. Such as multi-color machine, four-color machine, two-color machine, monochrome machine, fast printing machine, etc.

3, gravure printing machine: intaglio printing press
A machine that uses a gravure to complete the printing process. Such as instant noodle glass bag printing, biscuit aluminum foil bag packaging.

4, screen printing machine: screen-process printing press
A machine that uses a screen plate to complete the printing process. Stencil printing: such as screen printing, circuit board printing, cloth printing, can printing, imprinting, partial glazing, etc.

Classified by paper form
1. Sheetfed press: sheet-fed printing press
A press using a single sheet of paper.
2, web printing machine: roll-fed printing press
A press using a web.
Press printing structure classification
1, flat press printing machine: platen press
Plate support and embossing are flat presses`
2, round flat press (platform press): flat-bed cylinder press
The printing plate support is flat and the embossing body is a cylindrical printing press.
3, stop rotary printing machine: stop-cylinder press
The printing plate cooperates with the reciprocating motion. When the paper is advanced, the impression cylinder rotates one week. When returning, the impression cylinder stops rotating to complete the printing process of a printing process.
4, a rotary printing machine: single-revolution printing press
Each time the plate stage reciprocates, the impression cylinder rotates one week to complete a printing process.
5, two rotary printing press: two-revolution printing press
A printing press that completes a printing process every time the plate stage reciprocates
6, reciprocating printing press: reversible printing press
The printing cylinder is rotated once per reciprocating cylinder to complete a printing process.
7, round press printing machine: rotary printing press
The printing plate support and the transfer body are all cylindrical, and the printing machine is fully rotated when the printing process is completed.
Classified by number of prints and number of faces
1, monochrome printing machine: single-colour printing press
A printing machine that prints two ink colors on one side of a paper during a printing process.
2, two-color printing machine: two-colour printing press
A printing machine that prints two or more types of ink on one side of a paper during a printing process.
3, multi-color printing machine: multi-colour printing press
A printing machine that prints two or more types of ink on one side of a paper during a printing process.
4, double-sided monochrome printing machine: perfecting press
A printing press that prints on both sides of a paper during a printing process.
5, double-sided multi-color printing machine: multi-colour perfecting press
In a printing process, a paper has at least one side printing machine that prints two or more types of ink.
